Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As Laundry Attendant, you'll play an important role in supporting hotel operations, delivering exceptional service, and helping our team achieve its operational and business goals.
The Housekeeping position is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel and brand standards. This position supports a positive guest experience through attention to detail, efficiency, cleanliness, and responsive service.
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, replenish supplies, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces. Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly. Respond courteously to guest requests and special housekeeping needs. Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly and according to company procedures. Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas in an organized condition. Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures. Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned. Communicate room status and maintenance needs to appropriate hotel departments. Support the team in meeting productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and hotel cleanliness standards. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and courteous guest-service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday. Lift, carry, and maneuver housekeeping supplies and equipment. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Work with cleaning chemicals and in varying temperatures as required.
