Job Description
Insight Global is hiring on behalf of one of the largest low-voltage and data center infrastructure companies in North America. We are seeking motivated Technician I candidates who want to build a career in structured cabling and data center construction.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys hands-on work, is eager to learn, and can contribute immediately while developing technical skills under experienced mentors and project leadership. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling
Perform structured cabling installations inside a large-scale data center environment
Assist senior technicians with daily project activities
Learn blueprints, pathways, and cabling standards
Maintain organized work areas and cable management practices
Utilize hand tools and cabling tools safely
Participate in safety, lift, and project-specific training
Work alongside experienced leads and mentors who will teach cabling best practices
Support project deadlines and installation schedules
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work in physically demanding environments
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Steel-toe boots
Consistent attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and within a team
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Data center experience
Structured cabling experience
Experience pulling cable
Experience labeling or terminating cable
Exposure to telecommunications or low-voltage projects
OSHA, Lift, or BICSI certifications
Military or trade school experience
