Registered Nurse – Occupational – Permanent / Full-time – Haines, AK Location: Haines, AK Employment: Permanent, full-time Specialty: Occupational Registered Nurse (RN) Shift: Days, Full Time Start: ASAP We are seeking an experienced Occupational Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient clinic in Haines, AK. In this role, you will provide expert clinical care to employees and workers seeking occupational health services, ensuring timely assessment and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. Key Responsibilities • Assess, triage, and treat employees presenting with work-related injuries and illnesses • Conduct pre-employment physicals, health screenings, and fitness-for-duty evaluations • Administer medications, wound care, and first aid treatments per provider orders • Coordinate with workers' compensation case managers and communicate with supervisors regarding return-to-work plans • Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, incidents, and OSHA-required records • Educate employees on injury prevention, workplace safety, and health promotion strategies • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement occupational health programs ✅ Requirements • Active AK or Compact RN license • BLS, Case Manager Certification (CCMC) certifications • 1+ years of Occupational experience • Occupational Health Nursing Certificate (COHN or COHN-S) preferred • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, workers' compensation processes, and case management principles Pay Salary range: $86,000 to $117,000 per year.
